    Nella prossima ptr patch ci sarà un forte nerf d'interazione tra il monile Fiasca d'Anime/Draught of Souls e le specializzazioni Armi e Furia del Guerriero. Il tutto viene spiegato con questo blue post

    For Arms and Fury Warriors, we’re going to scale down the damage of Draught of Souls in the next build for the 7.2.5 PTR.

    Specifically, we’re aiming for a roughly 40% reduction in the effectiveness of Draught of Souls. For those two specs, it’s a trinket that is extremely valuable due to its interaction with Battle Cry. We’ve already tuned other forthcoming on-use trinkets that drop in Tomb of Sargeras for Arms and Fury with the same modifier to compensate for Battle Cry’s effectiveness in boosting trinkets of this kind. Our goal is for new trinkets to have more similar power levels between various specs, while leaving Draught of Souls in a place where it remains competitive for Arms and Fury.

    We’re making sure to consider this trinket change as we update Warriors in Patch 7.2.5. With this in mind, Fury damage has been increased by 5% across the board. Arms is currently in the middle of receiving some heavy mechanical changes which will require a deeper look into their overall performance, and we’ll account for this change when we do our final tuning.

    We don’t want Draught of Souls to define DPS Warriors for the remainder of the expansion, but we do want Warriors who have one to be able to make good use of it as they progress through Tomb of Sargeras.

    E vabbeh, c'era da aspettarselo che l'avrebbero nerfato per ToS, visto che fino ad ora non c'era nessun trinket, dentro ToS stessa, che poteva anche solo performare decentemente in confronto ad un DoS...anzi, forse ce e sono 2/3 che possono arrivarci, ma considerando che è un nuovo raid non ha senso che un item di un vecchio raid sia meglio del content nuovo (Bloodthirst Instinct anyone? Vabbeh), speriamo solo che questi nuovi trinket siano decenti, non mi va di farmare per una Faulty Countermeasure iper titanforged 0

    @grallen utilissimo il lavoro che fai e ti ringrazio, mi chiedevo una cosa però: hai modo di riportare le notizie qui mantenendo la formattazione "colorata"? Perché così si riesce ad avere una vera percezione dei cambiamenti anche rispetto alla patch precedente.

    Solo per curiosità eh, dovrebbe esserci qualche web formatter che ti riporta un "RichText" in formato da forum.

    Btw; come al solito la notizia del Terremoto (Earthquake) è fallata e non hanno aggiunto tutto, c'è stato un buff ai danni perché hanno tolto lo scaling in haste, in conclusione? Nerfino carino piccino :)

    Senza contare che il 2p del t18 faccia fare più dps del t19 e t20 perché ovviamente il nuovo tier è stato stranerfato quando anche senza nerf faceva cagare :)

    Si torna a farmare Hfc cari compagni :)

    Edit: Ho visto ora che è stato allegato il bluepost sul fatto dell'haste e no, il buff non compensa l'haste, è solo una toppa logora.

    Su wowhead la notizia dell'EQ era uscita per intero, su mmochampion no. Quindi diciamo che la rimozione dello scaling in haste era già presente insieme al "magico" buff dell'EQ. In più ne hanno ampliamente parlato sul discord degli elemental.
    La cosa più triste è vedere le patch notes ufficiali della 7.2.5 dove tutte le classi hanno km e km di testo di cambiamenti mentre noi elemental abbiamo giusto 2 righe (e una di queste due comprende il buff all'elementale che tanka). Il t20 è stata una bella trollata, meglio non parlarne: prima settimana lo buffano, seconda settimana lo riportano a come era prima, terza settimana lo nerfano, non considerando però che tutte le versioni facessero comunque cagare.

    Mi auguro davvero che con il buff a ES/Frost shock non pensano di aver risolto i nostri problemi in ST dal momento che simmando il buff all'ES overall abbiamo un guadagno di 20/30k.

    Non servono di sicuro Km di notes per "fixare" l'ele shaman

    Per esempio sulla questione Earth Shock basta veramente poco, farlo 100% critico anche diminuendo un pochino il danno visto che è una perdita di GCD quando non critta.
    EQ possono aumentargli i tick base semplicemente da 6 ad 8 per esempio, 9 mi sembrano troppi perché si rischierebbe di fare quello che blizzard non vuole, cioè, eq in ST.
    Il t20 è totalmente da reworkare ma non succederà mai, al massimo si spera dopo la prima week un buff.
    E la cosa più tragica che è l'RNG dove sicuramente potrebbero ritoccare qualcosa.

Many of these changes will be focused on PvP (and we shared the majority of them on Friday), but there will also be adjustments to a few Nighthold raid mechanics, and an initial set of buffs to a few underperforming specs.

    Note: We’re planning another round of class tuning for later in the week once we have more data from live realms; these are merely a first pass. Additionally, we plan to partially reduce the 7.2.5 nerf to Draught of Souls for Fury Warriors.

    We’ll share full details on all of these changes as soon as possible.

    The thinking above is still true, and something we want to keep an eye on, but the changes already in place mean the numbers are quite different from the 7.0 version. In 7.0, if you had e.g. a 10% chance to proc from Stormstrike (main hand only), and 0% from Lava Lash and Boulderfist (and the procs were worth double due to TempestTempest), there was a huge swing in proc chance between using 3 Stormstrike and using 3 other buttons. In 7.2.5, you may have 8% from the Lava Lash and Rockbitter, and 16% from the Stormstrike, and the a proc causes you to replace 2 other buttons with 2 Stormstrike. The swing is much smaller now.

    Because the 7.2.5 changes would already reduce the streakiness of Stormbringer procs (and because allowing offhands to proc is slightly more consistent with the tooltips), we'll let that play out on live and inform whether we need to make future changes to mitigate that streakiness further.

    Something that's on our radar is how constrained the rotation is with both Jagged Wounds and Savage Roar. The lowest-priority finisher (Ferocious Bite) gets pushed out too much with the combination of those two talents, which also currently happen to be too favored for DPS purposes. Both of those talents likely have too much of an impact on the pacing of the spec's rotation (for what a talent should do). In both cases we should probably reduce the talent's impact on pacing (that is, on GCD/resource usage) and either A) increase its DPS in some pacing-neutral fashion, or B) let the talent value sink if it's currently dominating its row, and counterbuff the spec some other way.

    This is a broader issue that we've started looking at more often since 7.0, when the number and complexity of spec-specific rotation-modifying talents/bonuses increased dramatically. Problems like having too many or too few open GCDs, or resource starvation/flooding, spring up a lot more often when 5 rows of talents + legendaries/traits can be potentially moved in and out of the same rotation. And because talents already have a tuning constraint (they need to be DPS-balanced within their row), the pacing effect can't always be easily tuned on its own. I'd expect a more common trend of talents having a simple added effect that boosts DPS so the talent can be tuned without introducing an overly large pacing swing (seen already with many recent redesigns: Soul of the Forest, Legacy of the Void, Boulderfist, Reverse Entropy, and so forth).
